Police action against tough criminals

Lakhimpur Kheri. Police action is being taken against the dreaded criminals in Kheri district. On Monday, the eyes of the police and administration turned towards gangster Shakeel Ahmed, who acquired property worth two crore seven lakh fifty thousand in seven cases, wanted and illegally. Police attached the gangster's property.
On the orders of the District Magistrate, the police and administration took action of attachment. ASP Arun Kumar Singh said that the son of Shakeel Ahmed, a resident of Mohalla Sayyidwada of Kheri town, Late Rahimuddin, is a ruthless criminal. It has acquired property worth two crore seven lakh fifty thousand illegally. It consists of one house and several plots. There are seven cases registered against Shakeel and all seven are for illegal possession of land. Along with attaching the property, the administration took over the possession of the land occupied by Shakeel, freeing it from encroachment. On the orders of the District Magistrate, action has been taken against the accused of gangster under Section 14(1) of the UP Gang Bandh and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act. During the operation, a large number of police forces were deployed to deal with any untoward situation. A notice related to attachment has also been pasted on the house of the offender. People have also been asked to stay away from the criminal and his property.
