Topper Shreya is in favor of free education for poor children
Lakhimpur Kheri. Shreya Srivastava, who became the number three topper in the district by securing 91.5 percent marks in high school, wants to give a new direction to the society by becoming a teacher and raising the level of education in the society. Shreya, who has secured 96 percent marks in Mathematics, has achieved this success by studying for three to four hours. For which she gives credit to her mother Rekha Srivastava and teachers and family.
After the death of father Ajit Kumar Srivastava about four years ago, he is now looked after by his mother Rekha, who apart from doing household chores, also runs a general merchant's shop in his residence Mohalla Kashi Nagar. Shreya also has an elder brother Manas Srivastava. Apart from this, there are grandmothers, uncles and aunts in the family. Shreya's mother Rekha Srivastava also says that she wants to educate her daughter as far as she wants. Along with taking care of the family, she wants to see her daughter Shreya as a successful citizen. Shreya says that there is a need to improve the level of education in the country, unemployment can be eradicated in the country by giving employment-oriented education.
