Seven children found doing child labor, action taken against the owners

Lakhimpur Kheri.  As part of Bachpan Bachao Abhiyan, AHTU and Labor Department along with Childline team and NGOs checked Dhabas, factories, auto parts agency, and shops.  During this, seven children were freed from child labor, while departmental action has been taken against their owners.

 Giving information by SP Kheri, Sanjeev Suman, it was told that a campaign was launched against child labor in Kheri by the NGO Bachpan Bachao, including the AHTU team of the Police Department, officers of the Labor Department and the joint team of Childline.  Seven children below the age of 18 years were freed from child labor during this period.  Departmental action has been taken against their owners.  At the same time, many owners have been instructed to get wishes from children below the age of 18 years.  In doing so, instructions have also been given for legal action.  At the same time, those people have been made aware of child labor by the team.  In the Bachpan Bachao campaign, Inspector Jainendra Kumar, Constable Rajesh Yadav, female constable Neeraj Gill along with labor change officer Santosh Tripathi from Police AHTU team and Santosh Rajvanshi, coordinator from Childline, Raghuveer from Bachpan Bachao NGO, Raj Bahadur and Inderjit Patel were involved.
