75th Independence Day celebrated in LPS

Lakhimpur kheri. The national festival of 75th Independence Day was celebrated with great pomp and gaiety in Lakhimpur branch of Lucknow Public School. The students of the school marched to the main road and LRP.
They also enthusiastically participated in the grand tricolor rally passing through the crossroads. The tricolor flag was hoisted by the director of Lucknow Public School and Colleges, Neha Singh. The cultural programmes started with the worship of Goddess Saraswati, lighting of the lamp and garlanding. The children of primary classes captivated everyone's attention by attiring as Bharat Mata, Rani Laxmibai & many more in the fancy dresses of many hues depicting patriotism. Students pay tribute to Pulwama martyrs annex 'Teri mitti mein mil jawaan.
They enthralled everyone with their excellent dance performance by remixing patriotic songs like 'Jai Ho...'. The group song 'Mere Watan Se Accha Koi Watan Nahin Hai' was sung by the children. Rakhi Thali Making Decoration, National Sign and Symbol, Batch Making, Patriotic Custome ,Tri Colour Cap Making, Photo Making, Wrist Band Making, Bookmark Making, Slogan sought everyone's attention. Children actively participated in competitions like writing, making Patriotic costume etc. Director Neha Singh honoured all the winning students with prizes. She praised all the programmes and saying them awakening the spirit of patriotism.
On this occasion badge distribution ceremony was held. The Principal Vijay Sachdeva congratulated all the parents, teachers, students etc. on the 75th anniversary of Independence Day and thanked everyone for making the programme a huge success.
