8 dead, 10 killed, 34 injured in Lakhimpur road accident

Lakhimpur Kheri, 28 September. Eight people have been identified among those killed in a road accident in the district on Wednesday morning. Eight people, including a ten-year-old girl, are involved in this. Administrative officials have confirmed this. However, this number may increase further.
District Magistrate Mahendra Bahadur Singh said that a private bus had left Dhaurhara to go to Lucknow with passengers. The bus, which reached near the Bahraich road Sharda bridge, collided head-on with the DCM at eight o'clock on Wednesday morning. The collision was so fierce that the bus and the DCM got blown up. Several passengers on the bus lost their lives in the accident and 33 people were seriously injured. There was shouting.
On receiving the information, the team of health department led by ACMO Dr. Ashwani Kumar, including district magistrate, SP, police and administrative officers of several police stations and about 11 ambulances reached the spot and relief and rescue work started with speed. All the injured were first admitted to CHC Nakaha through ambulance, from where serious patients were referred by oil doctors to District Male Hospital. CMO Dr. Arunendra Kumar Tripathi has reached the district hospital for proper better treatment of the injured. During this, Kaushal Kishore (45), resident of Katkusma police station Kheri and Jitendra's son Ramcharan Dhaurahara died near Sitapur. Those who died in the accident have been sent to the post-mortem house in a dead vehicle. According to the information, two injured in the accident have died in Lucknow during treatment.
Police have identified all the deceased, including Sagir (45), Surendra (38), Mannu Mishra (16), Azimoon (55), resident of Hazratganj in Lucknow, Saraswati Prasad Verma (35), 10-year-old girl Arya. Eight people including Nigam (10), Kaushal Kishore (45), resident of Kat Kusma police station Kheri, Jitendra's son Ramcharan Dhaurhara, have died on the spot. Among them, Kaushal Kishore and Jitendra died near Sitapur while being taken from Lakhimpur to Lucknow, while two others have died in Lucknow, taking the death toll to 10. About 33 people have happened in this incident. In which 11 people are undergoing treatment in Lucknow after being referred. At the same time, others are still getting their treatment in the district hospital Koel.
Here, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep grief over the loss of life in the road accident in Lakhimpur Kheri district. The Chief Minister has directed the District Magistrate and senior police officers to reach the spot and conduct relief work on a war footing and provide proper treatment to the injured.
The dead will get compensation of Rs 2 lakh from the central government
