BJP MLA Arvind Giri dies of heart attack

Lakhimpur Kheri.  BJP MLA Arvind Giri passed away on Tuesday morning at around 7 am due to cardiac arrest.  He was going to Lucknow to attend a meeting.  During this, he suffered a heart attack near Sidhauli on the Sitapur-Lucknow highway.  After which he was taken to Hind Medical College, Itaunja.  where he died.


 BJP MLA Arvind Giri was about 65 years old.  He was MLA from Samajwadi Party thrice and twice from BJP.  Presently he was MLA from Gola Vidhan Sabha.  He left for Lucknow from Gola at around 5:00 in the morning for a meeting.

 It is said that he had a heart attack while sitting in the car in Sidhauli.  After this he was hurriedly taken to Hind Medical College, Itaunja.  where he died.  Since his death, there is a wave of mourning in the entire region.  At the same time, let us tell you that on Monday, he had reached Kumbhi block to attend the funeral of Sadar MLA Yogesh Verma's father.  where he was completely healthy.

 In 1993, he joined student politics, while joining SP in 1994, he started active politics, became president of Gola Municipality in 1995, became MLA for the first time on a SP ticket in 1996 in Gola Vidhansabha, again in 2000 as an MLA.  Became the President of the Council Gola, became MLA for the second time on SP ticket in 2002, then became MLA for the third time in 2007, in 2012 and 2017 became MLA from Gola assembly seat on Bharatiya Janata Party ticket.
