Lakhimpur Kheri- Private bus and DCM collide, 40 injured and 8 killed, DM and SP reached the spot


Lakhimpur Kheri.  A private bus and DCM collided head-on at around 8:30 am on Wednesday.  The collision took place on the Bahraich Road Sharda bridge.  About 40 people were injured and 6 people died in this accident.  After the incident, top officials of health department including DM, SP reached the spot.

 According to the information received, a private bus which had left for Lucknow from Dhaurhara.  On Wednesday morning at around 8:30 am, there was a strong collision with the DCM coming from the front on the Bahraich road Sharda bridge.  The collision was so severe that both the bus and the DCM were blown up.  About 40 people on the bus were seriously injured in this incident.  Six people have died there.  11 ambulances were dispatched immediately on the information of the incident.  Through which all the injured were first admitted to CHC Nakaha, from where serious patients were referred by oil doctors to District Male Hospital.  Those who have been admitted to Oil District Hospital by ambulance.  After the information, DM and SP have reached the spot.  The traffic has also been stopped there.  CMO Dr. Arunendra Kumar Tripathi has reached the district hospital to see the injured.  Those who died in the accident have been sent to the post-mortem house Lakhimpur in a dead vehicle.
