Lakhimpur Kheri, 20 November. Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel reached Lakhimpur on Sunday to attend the annual function of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, where meritorious students of high school and intermediate were felicitated by her.

Deendayal Upadhyaya Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College (U.P. Board) Udaipur, Lakhimpur-Kheeri, for the encouragement of top-10 students in schools in High School and Intermediate Board Examination in the session 2021-22. "Joint merit decoration and anniversary celebration" was organized in the courtyard.
The program started with the national anthem, lighting the lamp, offering flowers and worshiping the enlightened mother Saraswati. Shri Sheshdhar Dwivedi ji introduced the guest dignitaries on the dais and Shri Ravi Bhushan Sahni ji presented a brief report of the schools.

Honorable Anandi Ben Patel ji said in his address that at present the present state of education in the country is devoid of culture, but in such a time Vidya Mandir is making it full of culture, only through education a qualified dedicated citizen becomes. Parents should also pay attention to the education of their children, this is the responsibility of the parents towards their children, because it is our duty to create a culture-oriented environment in the families. Teachers should pay attention to the all-round development of children according to the new education system. He gave special emphasis on technical education and global level education system. He praised the program arrangement and discipline with free voice.
Shiv Kumar ji told that along with education, culture and discipline are the specialties of Vidya Bharti. The alumni of Vidya Bharati are successfully participating in the progress of the nation at prominent places all over India. He exhorted all the student brothers and student sisters to set goals and try with full dedication and also laid special emphasis on self-evaluation. He said that teachers and guardians should work together to make brothers/sisters worthy citizens so that India can be re-established as a world guru.
In each school, the students who made the school proud by securing the highest marks in the High School and Intermediate examinations were honored with gold medals and certificates and the students who secured the top 9 positions were honored with silver medals and certificates.

6-6 Acharya / Acharyas from all the three schools were honored for their best contribution. Along with this, 3 office staff and 9 employees were also rewarded for their special work from among the office staff and employees of the schools.
24 students who have made special contribution in various fields like science, music, sports etc. in schools and who have brought glory to the schools by securing place at the national level in various competitions of Vidya Bharti, were felicitated. One student, who has been 100% present continuously for the last three years in the school, was honored with a special award.
Many beautiful cultural programs, bhajans and songs were presented by the students on this occasion. Live Hanuman Chalisa presented by the girl students was the main attraction of the programme.
The efficient operation of the program was done by Mr. Sheshadhar Dwivedi, Mr. Sarvendra Awasthi and Mrs. Madakini Mishra. The program was made successful by the presence of special guests, distinguished citizens of the city, parents and students.
