Social worker Harkirat Singh honored by Deputy Chief Minister

Lucknow- Social worker Harkirat Singh has been given a national ward by Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak for making the public aware of social issues by visiting every village.  He has been given this award for continuously doing better work in the social sector.

 Harkirat Singh told that he is continuously working for social awareness.  In view of his training and leadership, he was given this award during a function in Lucknow by Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak on January 12, on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda's birthday.  He is working to spread awareness among the masses on nine themes.  These include Bal Maitri Village, Health Village, Women Friendly Village, Good Governance Village, Poverty Free and Livelihood Enhanced Village, Socially Safe Village, Village with Adequate Water, Self-Sustained Infrastructure Village, Clean and Green Village, Self-Sustained and Enhanced Village, Health  To make cleanliness and nutrition day quality and active, awareness is being spread in the villages through Swachh Bharat Mission and hand washing skills.  For this work being done by him, he has been given the National Award as a coach.  On receiving this award, his family and all those who know him are very happy and they are getting all the best wishes for this.
