Menstrual Hygiene Day celebrated in Ambupur

Lakhimpur Kheri. On World Menstrual Hygiene Day, Ambupur, under CHC Fardhan, Menstrual Hygiene Day was celebrated at Health and Wellness Center, Ambupur. In which women were told how important hygiene is during their periods. It was also told that many diseases can occur during menstruation due to lack of cleanliness. During this a public awareness campaign rally was taken out. CHC Superintendent Dr. Amit Bajpai said that Vikash Sharma, Community Health Office CHO, posted on HW, along with the village head today, told the women of the village about methods and measures to avoid various types of diseases caused by hygiene. During this, pads were distributed to adolescent girls and women.
