62 elderly people were examined by setting up a health camp in the old age home

Lakhimpur Kheri.  A health camp was organized at Vridha Ashram Salempur Kon to provide better health services to the elderly through NPHCE, an elderly care program operated under NCD Cell.  In which health services were provided to 62 elders by Dr. Shikhar Bajpai Geriatric Physician.

 Dr. Shikhar Bajpai, Geriatric Physician, District Men's Hospital, said that the NPHCE program is being run to provide health services to the elderly.  Under this programme, a camp was organized at Old Age Home Salempur Kon.  In which 62 elders were screened for diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, eye diseases, mental problems, medicines were also made available.

 Along with this, he told that the old age only program is being run by the government.  Whose intention is to provide better health services to the elderly.  In order of this, monthly camps are organized at Old Age Home, Salempur Kon.
