Lakhimpur Kheri.  Five severely malnourished children of the city area were presented with a nutrition kit by Lakhimpur Municipality President Dr. Era Srivastava.  

This nutrition kit was presented to the families of the children at the Municipality Chairman's office.  During this, he also appealed to the capable citizens to come forward to help the poor families.

Dr. Era Srivastava said that he has adopted five highly malnourished children from Anganwadi centers under the city area and presented them with nutritional kits.  Which includes items like peanuts, sattu, soybean, jaggery, soap etc.  Fulfilling their responsibility towards all these children, they will be given good nutrition kits every month.  At the same time, he also appealed to other city intellectuals, elite persons including business class and capable persons to come forward and discharge their social responsibilities by adopting these highly malnourished children of poor families and giving their participation in the society.  So that the children of poor families can avoid serious diseases like malnutrition.  During this, CDPO Pooja Tripathi, chief servant Kirti Sachan and municipal employees were present with him.
