Lakhimpur Kheri. SP Ganesh Prasad Saha has been awarded the Gallantry Medal by Additional Director General of Police, Lucknow Zone. He has been given this medal for the courageous work done in Allahabad district in 2016. District officials have also congratulated him for this.
SP Kheri Ganesh Prasad Saha was posted in Allahabad district in 2016. Meanwhile, on June 7, 2016, a mob of about 300 people blocked the road and surrounded it against an incident in the Jhusi police station area, which included some people with criminal tendencies. Those who attacked people with sticks and started pelting stones and firing with the intention of killing them. Even in such adverse circumstances, by maintaining law and order and maintaining internal security, the then IPS Assistant Superintendent of Police, then Jurisdiction Nagar Pancham, Allahabad, took action and saved people's lives. During this time he was seriously injured, due to his courage and bravery the lives of many people were saved. In connection with this incident, he was honored with the Gallantry Medal awarded by the Government of India on 21 November 2030 by the Director General of Police, Lucknow by putting a patch on his uniform at the Zonal Office, Lucknow.
