Lakhimpur Kheri.  In view of the New Year, security arrangements have been further increased on the India-Nepal border.  On such occasions, smuggling from the border also increases.  Regarding this, joint checking is also being done by the police and SSB.  To take stock of this, SP Kheri Ganesh Prasad Saha inspected the check posts on the Indo-Nepal border under Gauriphanta area.

 SP Kheri Ganesh Prasad Saha said that to prevent any untoward incident on the occasion of the upcoming New Year and continuous monitoring of the India-Nepal border, intensive checking is being done with the help of drone cameras, monitoring of suspicious activities, and dog squad.  .  Many check posts have been built in the border area.  Where police officers have also been deployed along with SSB personnel.  In view of this, he inspected all the barrier check posts and SSB check posts, Kavach Outpost and SSB check posts under Gorifanta area and instructions were given to the deployed officers and policemen for intensive checking.
