Lakhimpur Kheri. Drug addiction is ruining the young generation, hence to stop the increasing drug addiction among the youth, a campaign “Ek Yudhar Against Drugs” is being launched. A program was organized in the CMO office to make the youth aware about the harms caused by drugs. In which CMO Dr. Santosh Gupta administered the oath to the officers and employees present to stay away from drugs and make people aware.
CMO Dr. Santosh Gupta said that a special campaign "A War Against Drugs" will be run from 12th January, the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda ji, to 23rd January, the birth anniversary of Subhash Chandra Bose ji. In which all the officers and employees posted in the health department across the district will be included. Along with this, they will also be given an oath to stay away from drugs and the general public, especially the youth, will be made aware of the harms caused by it and will be made to take an oath to stay away from it. Addiction is ruining the young generation, hence it is important to increase awareness about it. No matter what kind of addiction there is, be it tobacco, pudiya-paan, alcohol, or any kind of tobacco product! Which includes paan, pudiya, beedi, cigarette, tobacco, khaini, gutka. All these ruin the young generation and everyone, both physically and mentally as well as economically. In such a situation, all these problems can be avoided by staying away from it. The message of awareness will be conveyed to the general public through this special campaign. During this, ACMO Dr. Anil Kumar Gupta, Dr. Satya Prakash Mishra, Deputy CMO Dr. Dhaniram Bhargava, Deputy CMO Dr. Lalji Pasi, District Malaria Officer, District Administrative Officer Narendra Kumar Verma, Finance and Accounts Officer Vikram Pratap Singh, District Probation Officer Sanjay Nigam, AH TU Inspector Jainendra along with other officers and employees of CMO office, OHT team and District Program Management Unit were also present.
