Lakhimpur-Kheeri. A public awareness campaign was conducted by the Fire Service at various places in the district regarding inflammable devices to protect from cold. During this period, programs were organized by the Fire Service Department across the district.
SP Kheri Ganesh Prasad Saha said that under the awareness campaign being run by Fire Service Kheri, separate teams of Fire Officer, Second Fire Officer, Leading Fire Man, Fire Man have been formed under Fire Station Lakhimpur and the Khaparela Market of the city, District Women Hospital Lakhimpur, Utensil Mandi Lakhimpur, Taxi Stand Lakhimpur and in-charge Fire Station Mohammadi by Fire Station Mohammadi Area Municipality Mohammadi, Cooperative Sugarcane Development Committee Mohammadi, Civil and Additional Sessions Court Mohammadi, Barbar Square and New Petrol Pump by In-charge Fire Station Palia, Bheera Road Palia In Holi Square, Sher Singh Square, Hospital Road Palia, Kotwali Road Palia, the general public was made aware about the precautions and usage of heaters/fireplaces. Also banners were put up and pamphlets were distributed. It was also told that the heater, fireplace and blower should be switched off at night while sleeping. Do not close the windows and doors with cloth, plastic etc., lack of oxygen poses a risk to life. Keep the fire away from inflammable objects like curtain, bed, etc. Burn, use fire carefully.
