Lakhimpur Kheri. With the opening of the Medical College, patients suffering from serious bone diseases have also started getting benefits. The first half hip replacement in the district has been done by the team of Assistant Professor Dr. Ashutosh Verma Orthopedics Surgeon. Which has been made absolutely free under the Prime Minister Ayushman Golden Card Scheme. All the senior officials have congratulated him. Along with this, patients have also started getting the facility of hip replacement, knee replacement and other operations related to orthopedics.
Dr. IK Ramchandani, CMS District Men's Hospital, said that with the opening of the Medical College, the people of the district have started getting better health related services. The work has started with the appointment of specialist Dr. In a series, assistant professor Dr. Ashutosh Verma, orthopedic surgeon and Dr. Shriram, along with Dr. SK Mishra and Dr. Abhishek Pandey in the anesthetic team, have done hip replacement on Ram Lakhan (60), a resident of Ishanagar, Kheri. This operation was done on 28th January and the patient started walking on 31st January.
The operation was completely successful and the special thing is that this operation was completely free. This transplant has been done under the Ayushman Golden Card Scheme. The patient was admitted on January 13 and subsequently underwent hip replacement surgery along with necessary tests. Medical College Principal Dr. Arya Desh Deepak said that along with the Orthopedics Department, Assistant Professors have been posted in other departments also. Every need of the patients is being fulfilled for better care and health services. So that people can get services in Lakhimpur Kheri Medical College like Lucknow Medical College or other medical colleges and they do not have to run outside their respective districts for health related services. Earlier, for any small bone transplant, people had to go to medical colleges in Lucknow or nearby cities. Not only this, they also had to spend lakhs of rupees for this, whereas this treatment is very cheap in the medical college and is completely free for the Prime Minister Ayushman Golden Card holders. CMS MCH Wing Dr AC Srivastava and CMO Dr Santosh Gupta have also congratulated the entire team that performed the operation on half hip replacement.
