CMO conducted surprise inspection of one CHC and five PHC gave instructions to demolish dilapidated buildings and increase the speed of wards under construction

Lakhimpur Kheri.  A surprise inspection of one CHC and five PHCs was conducted by CMO Dr. Santosh Gupta on Friday.  During this time, instructions were given to demolish the old dilapidated buildings at PHC Barbar, while in view of the problem caused by monkeys to the patients, the Superintendent was asked to write a letter to the Nagar Panchayat for action.  Show cause notices have been issued to the employees found absent during inspection.  ACMO Dr. Anil Kumar Gupta was also present with him during the inspection.
 CMO Dr. Santosh Gupta said that on Friday, along with CHC Mohammadi, he also inspected PHC JBiganj, PHC Raja Benipur, PHC Barbar, PHC Khakhara, PHC Uchaulia.  Instructions have been given to take necessary action regarding the old unused building in CHC Mohammadi campus.  It has also been asked to increase the pace of construction of 6 bed ward in PHC Barbar, so that the patients can start getting its services soon.  He received a complaint about the abundance of monkeys at the PHC and misbehavior with the patients, on which he took immediate cognizance and instructed the Superintendent to correspond with the Nagar Panchayat Barbar official.  Besides, instructions have also been given to expedite the demolition of old dilapidated buildings which are useless.  CHOs posted in Ayushman Jan Arogya Mandir built in Khakhara and Uchaulia were found absent.  Instructions have also been given to increase the pace of construction of the 6 bed ward being built at JBiganj PHC.  Along with ensuring cleanliness at Rajapur Beni Primary Health Centre, instructions have been given to improve medical and health services.  Along with improving the cleanliness system everywhere, instructions have also been given to continuously ensure the availability of medicines.
