Health camp set up in Tharu tribe dominated area

Lakhimpur Kheri.  A screening and awareness camp regarding sickle cell anemia, a disease found in the Tharu tribe, was organized in village Barbata under the leadership of Medical Officer Dr. Komal Saha.  In which he gave health and safety advice to avoid diseases.  Blood testing was done in this camp.  The claims were also distributed there.  Regarding sickle cell anemia, the government is also running a campaign to identify and treat this disease by running a campaign in the Tharu tribe dominated area.  Lab technician Arvind Kumar, staff nurse Seema Singh and other medical professionals were also present in the camp.
