Lakhimpur Kheri.  The Mahapanchayat to be organized by the National Kurmi Federation regarding the problems of the farmers has been postponed.  Many types of questions started being raised regarding this among the common people including farmers.  After this, an official of the National Kurmi Federation spoke to the journalists in a private lawn of Lakhimpur and clarified the reason for the postponement of this Maha Panchayat.  During this time he also told the reasons for holding this Mahapanchayat.
 Speaking at the press conference, National President of National Kurmi Federation Shiv Bahadur Patel said that farmers were not getting the right price of MSP, farmers are troubled by stray animals, sugarcane payment is not being made on time, nor is the price of sugarcane.  is being increased.  Due to which the farmer is not able to get even the cost price.  Due to which many farmers are worried.  There are many such problems on which to focus the attention of the government and administration, a Mahapanchayat was organized at Kasta Crusher on 11th February, but when the government and administration were contacted for its permission, it came to light that on this day thousands of students  It is a competition exam.  In view of this, the General Assembly has postponed this program for the time being.  State President Anil Verma said that about 50 to 60 thousand farmers were going to gather at Kasta Crusher for this Mahapanchayat.  The government administration was aware of this.  Perhaps that is why permission has not been given, but our organization is not a political organization.  We will continue to raise our voice for the rights of farmers in future also.
District President Rajesh Verma said that this press conference has been organized by the National Kurmi Federation only to put an end to all the speculations that were being made after the postponement of the Mahapanchayat to be held in the district.  If the government administration does not agree, we will protest further on this matter.  National Secretary Akhilesh Verma said that the Kurmi Federation will submit the memorandum to the District Magistrate peacefully on February 11.  Through which efforts will be made to convey the problems of the farmers to the government.  During this period, officials of the National Kurmi Federation will be present.  Lucknow Metropolitan General Secretary Nitish Kumar Verma, Lucknow Metropolitan President Jai Singh, State Vice President Rajesh Patel etc. were present.
