50 houses of Mahadev village burnt down in Khaka

Lakhimpur Kheri.  Around 50 houses were burnt to ashes due to a sudden fire in a village of Singhahi police station area.  The goods, grains and important documents kept in these houses were also burnt.  Somehow the people living there saved their lives.  According to the information received, a fire broke out in village Majra Mahadeva of Gram Panchayat Bathua of Singhahi police station area on Tuesday afternoon.  By the time the people living there could understand, about 50 houses had become victims of the fire.  The fire brigade arrived on the information of the people and controlled the fire, by then the grains, important documents, clothes etc. kept in 50 houses were burnt.  After the information received by the administration, the damage caused in the incident is being assessed.
