CDO raids Executive Engineer, Tubewell Section I office, causes a stir

EE and 09 personnel found missing, notice issued

CDO's clear statement, strict action will be taken against officers and employees who come late

Lakhimpur Kheri 21 March. On Friday, Chief Development Officer Abhishek Kumar conducted a surprise inspection of the office of Executive Engineer, Tubewell Section I. During the inspection, Executive Engineer Tubewell and 09 personnel under him were found missing. There was a stir after seeing the CDO in the office.

CDO Abhishek Kumar took stock of the attendance of employees and arrangements in the office. During the inspection, the CDO took stock of the attendance register, cleanliness etc. arrangements in the office. During the inspection, the personnel officer and 09 personnel were found missing in the office and a notice has been issued and a reply has been sought. Action is certain if a satisfactory answer is not received.

The CDO expressed deep displeasure over the absence of personnel without information. A warning was given to improve the habit.  CDO said that work should be done as per the priorities of the government. Strict action will be taken against officers and employees who come late. Officers and employees should start attending offices on time. He said that officers will inspect any office on any day and check the reality of employees' attendance. 

Heaps of dirt found, files seen gathering dust

During the inspection of CDO Abhishek Kumar, heaps of dirt were found in the office of Executive Engineer, Tubewell Section-I. Files were seen covered with dust. Seeing the dirt, CDO Abhishek Kumar got furious and reprimanded the employees present. He said that you keep the same dirt in your home as well. During this, he also instructed the employees to improve their working style. During the inspection, the roof of the office was seen dilapidated and damaged. On this, he said that the roof should be repaired immediately as per rules from the maintenance fund, so that there is no possibility of any untoward incident. Let us tell you that CDO has earlier inspected the District Basic Education Officer, District School Inspector Office.  CDO indicated that continuous inspection will continue in future also.
