Administration on alert during cold nights, ADM inspects night shelter
ADM himself visits night shelter to assess facilities, interacts directly with the needy and issues strict instructions

Lakhimpur Kheri, December 20. Amidst the biting cold, ADM Narendra Bahadur Singh himself went into the field to assess the situation of the needy people seeking shelter in night shelters. He conducted a surprise inspection of the night shelter run by the Lakhimpur Municipal Council and examined the arrangements on the ground.
The ADM interacted directly with the people staying at the shelter, inquired about their well-being, and sought feedback on basic facilities such as bedding, blankets, and security. Those present at the shelter openly shared their experiences regarding the facilities.
During the inspection, the ADM meticulously reviewed the cleanliness, lighting, and security arrangements of the night shelter. He issued strict instructions to the Municipal Council's Executive Officer, Sanjay Kumar, who was present on the spot, to ensure that there is no negligence at any level during the cold wave. He emphasized that safe, dignified, and adequate facilities must be provided to the needy at all costs.
