Winter Relief Initiative: Blanket Distribution Campaign Launched Across the District Under the Leadership of DM Durga Shakti Nagpal

Relief Teams Reach Villages in Lakhimpur, Gola, Palia, Mohammadi, Nighasan, Dhaurahra, and Mitauli Tehsils

Lakhimpur Kheri, December 13. Amidst the cold wave, relief efforts have been launched for the helpless, destitute, and needy people of the district as per government directives. Under the close guidance of District Magistrate Durga Shakti Nagpal, revenue teams have intensified the blanket distribution campaign throughout the district.

In Lakhimpur, Gola, Palia, Mohammadi, Nighasan, Dhaurahra, and Mitauli tehsils, lists of needy and destitute people were compiled by visiting villages, and warm blankets were distributed to them. The objective of this initiative is to protect vulnerable people from the cold during the ongoing cold wave and provide them with relief.

DM Durga Shakti Nagpal said that their goal is to ensure that no helpless person falls victim to the cold wave.  Providing relief to every poor and needy person, in accordance with government schemes, is their priority. This is not just about distributing blankets, but a symbol of human compassion and social responsibility.

On the instructions of the DM, Additional District Magistrate Narendra Bahadur Singh is regularly reviewing the allocation, availability, and distribution of blankets in the tehsils. This active monitoring by the officials is ensuring that the campaign reaches every needy person effectively and on time.
