Instructions issued to remove electricity poles standing in the middle of the road, emphasis on speed and quality in drain construction

Lakhimpur Kheri. To assess the actual progress of the ongoing road and drain construction work and the status of encroachment removal on Ghosiana Road, CDO Abhishek Kumar made a surprise visit to the site on Friday. During the inspection, he observed electricity poles standing in the middle of the road and encroachments hindering the construction work and immediately issued instructions for their removal. He also directed officials to focus specifically on the drain construction work and ensure its completion within the stipulated timeframe with high quality.
The CDO clearly instructed the Executive Engineer (Electricity) that any delay in pole shifting would not be tolerated. He directed the officials to expedite the construction work and complete it within the stipulated time frame with high quality so that the general public can get relief soon. He also closely reviewed the progress of the road and drain construction and issued necessary instructions for improvements.
The CDO inquired about the status of the work from the officials present and emphasized the importance of working in coordination. The CDO also interacted with the local citizens and appealed to them to cooperate with the administration by voluntarily removing encroachments. He said that the area's landscape would change once the road construction is complete, providing people with smooth, safe, and improved transportation facilities. SDM Sadar Ashwani Kumar Singh, PD (DRDA) Somnath Chaurasia, Executive Engineer (Electricity) Shailendra Kumar, and other concerned officials were present during the inspection.
